Abstract

This article aims to show that the notion of justice is not the opposite of injustice. It discuss the modern political progress as the result of a series of denunciations against injustice. These denunciations, although often minorities, have a role in the development of human consciousness. Calas’ and Dreyfus’ cases are presented as examples of juridical errors resulting from judgment based on religious and anti-semitic prejudice. It discusses the notion of injustice from these two cases.
