Bem-estar e desempenho dos professores universitários: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

Resumo

O bem-estar é um estado mental positivo, preditor de alto desempenho no trabalho, sendo um mecanismo de proteção para professores universitários ante ao esgotamento funcional. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as produções científicas que investigam os efeitos do bem-estar e do desempenho dos docentes e as correlações entre estas variáveis no contexto da Educação Superior, realizadas entre os anos de 2010 a 2020. Foram encontrados 268 artigos no Portal de Periódicos CAPES, usando os descritores “well-being and performance of university professor”. Após aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, 17 artigos foram selecionados no contexto internacional e 03 no contexto nacional totalizando 20 artigos analisados. Os artigos identificados foram analisados por dois juízes independentes. Na comparação dos resultados, em caso de divergência, buscou-se a concordância de ambos, conforme critérios de inclusão e exclusão elencados. Os resultados demonstraram que bem-estar e desempenho estão positivamente correlacionados e sofrem influência de variáveis individuais e contextuais no ambiente organizacional.
