Well-being is a positive mental state, a predictor of high performance at work, being a protective mechanism for university professors in the face of functional exhaustion. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the scientific productions that investigate the effects of well-being on the performance of teachers and the correlations between these variables in the context of Higher Education, carried out between the years 2010 to 2020. 268 articles were found in CAPES database, using the descriptors “well-being and performance of university professor”. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 17 articles were selected in the international context and 03 in the national context, totaling 20 analyzed articles. The identified articles were analyzed by two independent judges. When comparing the results, in case of divergence, the agreement of both was sought, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria listed. The results showed that well-being and performance are positively correlated, perceived as consequential due to the influence of individual and contextual variables in the organizational environment.
