A INFLUÊNCIA DA ORIGEM PROFISSIONAL NO DESEMPENHO DE CARGOS PÚBLICOS ESTRATÉGICOS

Este estudo analisa a relação entre a origem profissional dos ocupantes do cargo de Empreendedor Público do Estado de Minas Gerais e o desempenho destes no cargo. Trata-se de um estudo de caso. Foram realizadas entrevistas com empreendedores e seus gestores para caracterizar e distinguir estes profissionais; e pesquisa documental com análise dos instrumentos de avaliação de desempenho dos empreendedores públicos, segregados por origem. Concluiu-se que existem vantagens e desvantagens atribuídas ao perfil e à atuação do empreendedor público pela sua origem profissional, que são analisadas em cada caso, não havendo uma origem profissional determinantemente mais vantajosa.
