Abstract

O fenômeno slash – sinal gráfico da barra diagonal (/) – refere-se a uma geração de profissionais que acumula e pratica múltiplas atividades, como: administrador/fotógrafo; arquiteta/atriz/cantora. Nesta pesquisa – que tem como objetivo compreender, numa perspectiva interdisciplinar, as características das trajetórias dos slashers – conduzimos uma investigação com orientação integralmente qualitativa. Na expectativa de apreender a aparente complexidade do nosso objeto de estudo, passamos a trabalhar inspirados pelo método cartográfico, investigando e mapeando as trajetórias profissionais de 06 slashers nas cidades de Fortaleza e São Paulo, no período de setembro de 2017 a janeiro de 2019. Como resultados, cartografamos um mapa com as possíveis rotas profissionais dos slashers, além de duas sínteses provisórias – (i) confirmando algumas das características desses sujeitos abordadas na literatura e (ii) crítica a uma possível “glamourização” dessa dinâmica – e uma proposição reflexiva – a respeito do sentido de “lugarização” no mundo desses trabalhadores.
