Evaluation of Internationalization in Higher Education:
An Analysis of the Contribution of the UFPB International Cooperation Agency to Achieving SDG 17

Main objective of the research: To evaluate how the actions developed by the International Cooperation Agency of UFPB (ACI/UFPB) contribute to the fulfillment of the goals of SDG 17, focusing on the promotion of global partnerships within the scope of the internationalization of higher education.
Diagnosis of the problem and/or opportunity: Internationalization from the perspective of the SDGs allows us to recognize institutional advances, identify good practices and opportunities for improving cooperation policies. The creation of ACI/UFPB arises as a response to the need to organize, institutionalize and expand cooperative actions, in order to align the university's international performance with the guidelines of the 2030 Agenda. The analysis of this experience allows us to identify advances, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
Methodology/approach: The research adopts a qualitative approach, with a documentary and descriptive character. Management reports, mobility records, cooperation agreements and institutional publications of ACI/UFPB were analyzed. Content analysis guided the identification of categories related to academic cooperation and the goals of SDG 17.
Results/application: The data show that ACI/UFPB develops structured academic diplomacy actions, with agreements, mobility, and articulations with various institutions. Consistent efforts were identified to strengthen institutional capacities and stimulate scientific networks, including initiatives such as "PB without Borders," PROMOBI, and strategic agreements.
Contributions: The study highlights the role of ACI/UFPB in consolidating institutional internationalization practices aligned with the 2030 Agenda. It points to elements for evaluating cooperation policies in public universities and supports reflections for improving international management.
