Bioethics and Development: the construction of a new ethical paradigm due to the advances of the scientific society

Abstract

Due to the fast scientific development tried by the society contemporary in the last few decades, the human being started to excite a series of investigations on the routes for which the humanity has walked and, consequently, the future that will be legacy for the next generations. Because of this, the main objective of this work is to verify the philosophical speeches concerning such thematic one, as well to understand the meanings that produce these same speeches, giving itself special emphasis to the latent concern in the thought of Hans Jonas on the necessity of rethinking the routes of the scientific development, considering, for in such a way, the construction of a new ethical paradigm. As objective specific, we should to cite: the accomplishment of a referring historical study to the construction of ethics for the society contemporary, the analysis of the principle responsibility of Hans Jonas, the decurrent danger it progress of the scientific civilization, and, finally, the search of ethical questions ahead excited of the application of new technologies. As methodology, the descriptive bibliographical research of character was appealed to it to interdisciplinary. Therefore, it is verified that the future of the humanity must be the first one to have of the human collective behavior in the age of the civilization technique, since this if became excessively powerful in what it refers to to its potential of destruction. The future of the humanity includes, obviously, the future of the nature as its sine qua non condition.
