Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal. The author assumes responsibility for the content of the text, including ethical issues, when the research involves people or animals. The author has read the submission guidelines and is aware that plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in immediate exclusion from the evaluation system. All coauthors must have worked effectively on the writing of the text.
- Files for submission are in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format (as long as they do not exceed 2 MB).
- All Internet page addresses (URLs) included in the text (e.g., http://www.ibict.br/) are active and ready to click.
- The text follows the formatting and style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the guidelines for authors presented at Diretrizes para Autores.
- Authorship of a document gives authors academic credit and recognition, and implies responsibility for the published content. In case of coauthorship, all authors are responsible for the text.
- All author data, such as name and institution, minibiography, e-mail, ORCID, must be filled in in the system.
- The submission must present the abstract and keywords in both Portuguese and English.
- The authorship identification of this paper has been removed from the file and from the Properties option in Word, thus ensuring the journal's confidentiality criteria.
