A verdade como limite ideal

Abstract

Peirce thinks that the truths are the stable conclusions reached by scientific inquiry continued long enough. As Hacking remarked, in Putnam's internal (pragmatic) realism there is a double limiting process because the methods of inquiry can themselves grow. This paper aims at discussing Putnam's view that truth is an idealization of rational acceptability.
