Nietzsche’s Philosophy: Pragmatism Avant la Lettre

Abstract

First of all, I intend to argue that Nietzsche’s philosophical project, however, aims at taking to pieces the primacy of subjectivity and, therefore, a conception of truth which is associated with the modern idea of subject. Secondly, I intend to assert that Nietzsche presents a new conception of truth, introducing in the considerations concerning human knowledge a pragmatism avant la lettre.
