Observe the Phenomenon: Form and Reality in Peirce’s Semiotics
Keywords:
Reality, Object, Science, Admirableness, BeliefAbstract
Faced with what is admirable in reality we are drawn into seeking it and, in doing so, represent it. Shaken by the object, in our early convictions, we attempt to represent it in a diagram where we experiment possible paths to reach it. Logical truth exists independent of us, but in order that we move towards the object, we are required to believe in the truth diagrammatically created. Science, Ethics and Aesthetics unite so that the knowledge of the real occurs, and so that the life of the evolving spirit be endowed with meaning.Metrics
