Frege and the "Praise of future Reason"

Abstract

This article presents some aspects of the rational groundwork of Arithmetic carried out by Frege as opposed to the kantian model based on the pure intuition time. In that sense, Frege's philosophy accomplishes a rehabilitation of Pure Reason as a cognitive means of producing necessary, universal and cumulative knowledge.
