Résumé

Este artigo apresenta um mapa e um inventário de pesquisas brasileiras que lidam com arte e matemática na Educação Matemática. Considerando o período entre 1987 e 2013, fez-se um levantamento de teses e dissertações para desenhar um mapa sobre a quantidade de pesquisas que se envolveram com o tema em questão, observando o crescimento, o local de produção, os sujeitos e as forças envolvidas. A partir daí, apresenta-se um inventário das pesquisas, procurando analisá-las estruturalmente para delinear modos de articular a arte com a matemática, bem como o emprego de aspectos visuais nesta articulação. Por fim, constata-se que na área ainda é bastante tímida, com pequenos picos e com tendências articuladas às diretrizes modernas para um ensino interdisciplinar.

Abstract

This paper presents a map and an inventory of Brazilian studies that deal with art and mathematics in Mathematics Education. Considering the period between 1987 and 2013, we conducted a survey of theses and dissertations to draw a map on the amount of researches that were involved with the issue at hand, observing the growth of production and the local production, as well as individuals and forces involved. Thereafter, we present an inventory of the researches, looking analyze them structurally to outline ways to articulate art with mathematics, and also to understand how the visual aspects were applied in the researches. Finally, it appears that production in the area is still quite shy, with small peaks and articulated to modern trends for interdisciplinary teaching guidelines.
