Jornalismo: sensibilidade e complexidade

Abstract

The study examines conjectures that allow a comprehension of the mediatization impacts on the universe of the mediatic - journalistic communication, affecting the notion of news, the status of journalism - its nature and its professional identity – the insertion of readers in the production chain, the role of technologies, reformulating concepts as the one of happening. These aspects raise concerns about the enunciative competence of this discursive practice and the autonomy of its field – mainly the relationship of its actors with sources and readers, producing other schemes of self-referentiality that engender in the world “of amateur authors”. Would journalism be in the face of a dilution or dissolution of its nature? Or is there a possibility of restoration of its intermediation strength?
