<b>Design e interface: uma polêmica conceitual</b>

Abstract

Este estudo busca examinar os conceitos de design que se fundiram ao longo do século XX, transformando-se em algo confuso e uniforme, e que, nos dias atuais, associam-se ao de interface, produzindo polêmicas e equívocos. Nesse sentido, este texto objetiva contextualizar e evidenciar essas diferenças conceituais, revelando, assim, o aumento de complexidade na constelação histórica. Today one cannot think of design dissociated from interface, which leads to controversies, for design is invoked continually to produce interfaces, especially on the Internet. In this context, this essay aims to contextualize and evidence the conceptual differences between design and interface, revealing the increasing complexity of the historical constellation.
