Abstract

we intend to examine the question of discoursive regimes of photojournalistic images, departing from an analysis on the patterns of human presence in the visual images, and their functions in the orientation of reading processes in photography; in such terms, we observe the visual topic of portraiture in its possible relationships with the themes of human actions and passions, which are to be found characterisitic of photojournalism. in the end of the article, we examine the pragmatical dimension of human presence in photographs, taking advantage of such a phenomenon to approach the possible repercussions between puictorial representation and conversation.
