Abstract

This article seeks to shed light on the discursive strategies of the feminist blog Escreva Lola Escreva, based on Patrick Charaudeau’s theory of Communication Contracts. Such contracts are based on external (condition of identity, purpose, content and material circumstances) and internal information (locutory space, relationship and theming) about the discourse. To identify the characteristics of the contract, an analysis is made of a sample of 102 texts about the influence of media discourse on the maintenance of the patriarchal characteristics of Brazilian society. It was found that the blog most often (38.61%) criticizes the handling of cases of violence against women, seeking to bring to light the media’s responsibility for the so-called “rape culture.”It was concluded that the agreement between the blog in question and its audience is based on a two way relationship imed at disseminating a culture of critical consumption of information
