Affection crisis: privacy and everyday life in film and television

When intimacy is the main theme of both television programs and in movies theaters, an affection crisis is observed,in which the risk of subjective imprisonments and reification intensify. In this paper we analyze two empirical objects that emphasize the theme of everyday life and privacy, which pervade some affective territories, such as the film "A woman is a woman", of Jean-Luc Godard, and contemporary television, in particular the Brazilian television channel GNT. In conclusion, the trajectory of the self seems threatened by the marketing of affective performances.Downloads
