Keywords:
communication, world of work, meaning production, communication relationships.Abstract
In this article, we discuss the theoretical-methodological approach to communication and work. We argue that communication is a human activity, such as the activity of work in the invention of the individual and subjectivity. In addition, we discuss that communication relations make up the concrete workplace, cross and form part of its historicity. Under this perspective, the world of work is, more than a geographical location; it covers the production of meanings, sociocultural, historical, and political logic. This understanding opens up methodological and empirical perspectives that enable an understanding of the phenomenon of communication phenomenon as an object of the communication area.
