Abstract

This article discusses the implications of communication theories and practices based on the explosion of information technologies, starting from the work of Michel Foucault and in the light of two of its most recent reinterpretations, those of Gilles Deleuze and Peter Sloterdijk. The aim is to demonstrate the correlation between an episteme of information, the societies of control or security, and the line of thought known as posthumanism.
