The Fourth Industrial Revolution has put Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its algorithms into everyday life. This new technological reality requires a deep ethical reflection and gives rise to the need of thinking about an Algorithmic Ethic. From a bibliographic research, this article proposes a definition of the ethics of the algorithms, pre- senting a reflection on the main ethical issues raised by the presence of the algorithms in the mediations of contemporary human life regarding fallibility, opacity, bias, discrimination, autonomy, privacy and responsibility.
