Abstract

Describing the visible – Documentary cinema and filmic anthropology presents, in 10 scientific articles, a contemporary overview on filmic anthropology studies – a research strand that supervenes filmmaking as the main parameter of investigation.This field preconizes filmmaking as the most important stage in ethnographic researches. For beyond a fruitful mean of access to otherness, the film – in this context - makes possible the sharing experience – in which the recorded subjects can interpret their own images, intervening in the ways presenting this experience.
