Abstract

This paper discusses the relation of the sensitive with the print journalism pointing out to its presence in the world of journalism linked to targeted magazines. Here are presented some results and reflections of an investigation that approached the editorial composition of Vida Simples magazine, which has been published on monthly issues by Editora Abril from 2002 to 2011. Considering the movements of the constitution of this publication, as well as its journalistic elements and materiality, it is reported - from fragments of a broader analysis – how this magazine, approaching just one topic, is able to elaborate sensitive ways of approach on the quality of life in the contemporary society - its central issue. According to the survey, more than just a strategy, the sensitive emerges as a kind of invisible thread, sewing an editorial fabric focused on a kind of journalism that configures the publication, featuring it and being featured by it.
