Abstract

An imaging ethos? — A possible correlation is made between Aristotelian rhetoric and Peirce’s semiotics in an attempt to apprehend the circulation of images in contemporary society as a device to create an ethos from symbolic contents (logos) that are constitutive of social arguments.
