The PNBE (Library at School National Program) is a governmental enterprise that aims mainly at the democratization of access to the literary culture for students; being the object of this present study, the PNBE/2008 is indeed acknowledged as innovative. For the first time it was possible to observe the adoption of literary works which are both thematically and linguistically adequate for the children education stratus (0 to six-years-old). The aim of this ongoing project is to challenge the influence of pedagogic practices over the public school children’s literary learning through discussions about the reception and usage of the collection brought forth by the program.Downloads
