Under new perspective and using the Conceptual Integration Networks Theory (Fauconnier and Turner, 1998), data, previously displayed as synthesis-tables, are now presented and analysed diagrams which led to new insights. Drawings made by the students in their effort to interpret the analogical and metaphorical expressions used by their teachers in the ballet classes, led to significant blending. New aspects are discussed, particularly the origin and elaboration of blending. The new vision showed some unnoticed mechanisms not evident in the previous analysis, corroborating the expected applicability and pertinency of the use of analogies and metaphors in the traditional teaching of ballet.Downloads
