This paper aims to present am exploratory analysis of students’ impressions in five subjects present in a pedagogical education course for teacher in distance education. Recognizing that assessment is an appropriate tool for choosing and redirecting teaching practices, we focus our questionnaire on the following aspects: content of the disciplines, course organization and classroom. Despite the great value of the course, the results suggest that students aim for teacher’s effective presence to understand the contents, as well as the need for the adoption of authored teaching materials and the diversification of teaching resources.
