Abstract

In the clinical work with aphasics the speech-language pathologist confronts a patient about the effect of a before and after neurological event, and therefore suffering with a new linguistic condition. The mourning for the loss of a position in the language is experienced and has effects in the speech-language therapy. The subjective drama instilled by aphasia is a theoretical issue articulated to mourning that deserves refinement. Thus, this article presents a bibliographical review on the aphasic in the Language Clinic and the confrontation of a mourning in front of its new linguistic/subjective condition.

Michelly Daiane de Souza Gaspar CORDEIRO, Professora Substituta na Universidade Estadual do Centro Oeste - Unicentro – PR

Fonoaudióloga, graduada pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste - UNICENTRO. Mestre em Linguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2014). Doutora em Linguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela mesma Universidade (Bolsista CNPq). Experiência clínica na área de linguagem (oral e escrita) com crianças e adultos. Atualmente é Professora Substituta no Departamento de Fonoaudiologia da Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste/ UNICENTRO - Irati/PR.

Maria Francisca LIER-DEVITTO, Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo / PUC-SP

Atualmente é pesquisadora - International Pragmatics Association, psicanalista e pesquisador do Instituto Vox de Psicanálise, professor titular da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo e professor titular da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Lingüística, com ênfase em Aquisição da Linguagem, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: aquisição da linguagem, falas sintomáticas, clínica de linguagem, a criança e a linguagem e erro e sintoma.
