Abstract

This paper describes the evidence from studies developed in the context of Universities of the Third Age about the implications of participation of the elderly in these programs for the well-being in old age. Specifically it examines the impact on indicators of life satisfaction, emotions and psychological adjustment represented by the constructs of subjective well-being (SWB) and psychological well-being (PWB).
