During the years soccer has brought rudiments that made possiblethe construction of narratives which prioritized the dissemination ofa homogenous speech. Mainly from the discourses written by MárioRodrigues Filho and by Tomas Mazzoni which pointed to the buildingof a single identity which not only have been constantly reproduced bycolumnists but also by several groups from the academy itself – whichduring the last years have been dealing with the subject. Therefore themain objective of this article is to identify and to problematize some ofthese constructions giving importance to questions which want to knowwhat kind of groups and interests this model discourse considered andwhy not say they still do.Metrics
