Abstract

Behavior analysis has investigated for a long time techniques and procedures in order to prepare education professionals. The objective of this work was to prepare a teacher designated to work with public school’s inclusion program. The procedures intended to allow the professional to know a few basic concepts of behavior analysis, to implement motivating items assessments, to distinguish between adequate and inadequate behaviors and to apply the acquired concepts to classroom where the student attended to in order to obtain some kind of generalization. Teaching procedure included: reading and discussion of texts, instructions, role-playing (watch and apply procedures on children). Assessments were made to verify procedure’s efficiency. There were observed changes in teacher’s behavior coherently with the teaching program and also changes in children’s behavior. Results suggest that the procedure can be effective in teaching teachers on inclusion program
