Fatores de competitividade da indústria brasileira de papel

Neste artigo procura-se questionar sobre os meios que favorecem a perenização da posição conquistada pelo setor brasileiro de celulose no mercado mundial. As cinco maiores empresas de celulose praticam estratégias concorrenciais combinando as vantagens comparativas do país e as vantagens competitivas das firmas. Nesse contexto, não se deve negligenciar as políticas de industrialização setoriais implementadas pelo Estado, aplicando medidas de ordem financeiras, fiscais e alfandegárias e oferecendo incentivos às pesquisas e aos desenvolvimentos científicos. Abstract: In this article it is questioned the means that favor the perennial position seized by the Brazilian cellulose corporations have competitive strategies which combine the comparative advantages of the country with the competitive advantages of the companies. In this context, the industrialization policies implemented by the State cannot be neglected – financial customs and fiscal measures and the incentives provided for research and scientific developments.
