fintech, trust, perceived benefit, customers' intentionAbstract
The objective was to investigate the antecedents of the customers' intention to adopt Fintech services in Brazil. Based on the assumption of customers' risk acceptance, the theoretical model indicated the relationships among trust, perceived benefit, and customers' intention. Data collected by the survey were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results indicated that trust and perceived benefit positively influence the intention to adopt Fintech services, and there is partial mediation of trust in the relationship between perceived benefit and intention. Thus, although companies in this sector still need to explore the market, the results indicate that trust plays a relevant role in expanding Fintech's services.
