Projeto História is a journal maintained and edited by the Postgraduate Studies Program in History at PUC-SP. It was created in June 1981, when it’s periodicity was 1 per year.

Projeto História is a non-profit jornal, and is at a national and international level. Its objective is to promote and spread research in the area of history with an emphasis on culture, society and work, which are part of the research lines of the Program.

At the moment Projeto História is in electronic format and is published every four months, containing original articles, translations, research and reviews.

The journal receives articles in a continuous flow basis.

 

Evaluated as Qualis A1 (the highest ranking available) by CAPES (Brazilian Federal Agency for the Support and Evaluation of Graduate/Post-Graduate Education)

The “Projeto História” is a non-profit journal maintained and edited by the Postgraduate Studies Program in History at PUC-SP, at a national and international level. Its objective is to promote and spread research in the area of history with an emphasis on culture, society and work, which are part of the research lines of the Program. “Projeto História”, in electronic format, is published every four months and contains original articles, translations, research and reviews. The articles can be submitted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and Italian, must be unpublished and follow the publication norms present on the website: https://revistas.pucsp.br/index.php/revph/about/submissions

 

 

The journal has a scientific/editorial board, which is constituted of specialists of notorious knowledge in the field. This board is also the journal's referee, although, if necessary, ad hoc referees can be invited. The article selection process involves the evaluation of two specialists from the Editorial Board. In case of disagreement, the text is forwarded to a third reviewer. Any article, national or foreign, is submitted to the double blind peer review system. The selection process for the evaluation of translations, research, and reviews will be done by the members of the Council, but is open to nominations from the entire scientific community.

 

This journal offers open access to all its contents and it can be accessed, downloaded, printed, copied and distributed without prior authorization from the responsible publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the open access definitions of the B.O.A.I.

No fees are charged to authors for submission and/or publication of articles.

 

Our texts are published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which allows them to be shared and adapted for any purpose, even commercial, as long as proper credit is given. 

 

The authors grant the journal all copyrights relating to the published works.

 

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create an archive system distributed among the participating libraries and allows them to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration.

Projeto História's own website is a repository for the submitted and approved versions of the texts.
