This article aims to discuss quilombola communities in the state of Amapá. Nowadays, the quilombo is present in the debate on the agrarian question, and specifically on the agrarian reform, and responds to a process of political struggle, substantially of conquests and demands of organized black movements, since the 1980s. contextualize the historical struggle for the survival of these traditional quilombo remnant communities that are often on the margins of the process of capital accumulation in the context of economic development as well as distant from affirmative action public policies.Downloads
