Abstract

The main goal of the present article is to analyze the monitoring of the Brazilians who were forced to leave to Argentina after the September 11th of 1973 coup in Chile, accomplished by the Exterior Information Center (CIEX) and the Exterior Relations Ministry's Division of Security and Information (DSI/MRE). These two organizations action was based off on the need to defeat the enemy beyond the national borders, in order to keep the organizations from the Brazilian and other countries of the Cone Sul's left from establishing political networks aiming the foundation of a regional revolutionary movement.
