ACCUMULATION CRISIS IN ARGENTINA FROM THE CASE STUDY OF A DAIRY COMPANY

Abstract

The recent bankruptcy of the dairy company Sancor shows, in our opinion, the limits of capital accumulation and the local dairy industry crisis. We propose to review their situation in historical perspective, with attention to their accounting and financial evolution from the Balance Sheets; in the framework of the situation of the branch at local and international level. We focus on the structure of the industry and the specific problems of Sancor C.U.L. This perspective will allow us to propose an overall interpretation of the process, and possible outputs.
