Abstract

This article proposes a venture into the study of treatment of school discipline based on educational thinking in Cuba between 1793 and 1898. First of all, since the enlightenment of used concept we make a historiographical balance which we warn the shortcomings and limitations in the studies on the subject. Further, we point certain methodological guidelines for analysis of the discipline as an object of historical research in selected stage, establishing definitions moments that marked the changes as assumed by the Cuban pedagogy. And after all, we concentrate in the sources available in order to develop this line of research.

Ha colaborado con publicaciones en México, Brasil, España e Italia.
