Abstract

In this paper, the author questions the globalization, the invention of colonial modernity and the notions of diaspora in the New World, which run the risk of make a plaster Plural Africa and lose sight of contemporary diasporas in Europe and in the West.These points, as well as show the continuity of western mirage and indicate the failure of the independence promises, leading to negativity of many Africas, ask for critical attention to diverse and contradictory experiences of African descent and returned African migrants.
