Abstract

Maria Beatriz Rocha-Trindade is a pioneer in studies related to international migration in Portugal and is essential reading in any studies on the subject. She is the author of hundreds of works, including books, chapters, articles in periodicals and others. The professor moved through different university spaces teaching, producing seminal works and creating innovative projects. Always concerned with the dissemination of knowledge and expanding the public, Maria Beatriz was present in the various musealization projects of Portuguese migratory experiences. These aspects are developed in the interview.
