We follow Elsevier's recommendations and the Committee on Publication Ethics' (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and hope that the following guide will enlighten authors, reviewers, and editors on our conduct.

I) Editorial process

Throughout the stages of the editorial process, we are guided by some basic ethical principles:

  • Diversity and equality: we seek to promote diversity in our group of authors, editors and evaluators, seeking to reduce the inequality of opportunities.
  • Respect: All people should be treated with respect, authors as well as reviewers and editors. Offensive messages to any of the parties involved in the process will not be tolerated.
