APPROPRIATION AND REPRESENTATION OF THE EPISODE BY INÊS DE CASTRO (OS LUSÍADAS -CAMÕES) IN THE COIMBRA SONG AND IN A CHRONICLE BY ANTONIO PRATA

In this article, we will specifically address the appropriation, according to the concept of Chartier (1988), within the research line of the Histories of Linguistic Ideas (HIL), seeking to verify how, from the camonian episode of Inês de Castro, Os Lusíadas, the composers of music Coimbra and the author Antonio Prata in the chronicle '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" .They appropriate the story of Inês de Castro and represent her in the time and context of which they are part. Of this history, it is worth highlighting here the execution of Inês and its consequences – such as "a Fonte dos Amores" – named after the Camonian epic, making Coimbra coincide as the capital of Portuguese love - and the question of Dom Pedro having it crowned queen after being dead long ago. Also related to this death, we will comment on the expression still used in our days by some people: "Now Inês is dead".
