DESCRIÇÃO FONÉTICO-ACÚSTICA DAS FRICATIVAS NO PORTUGUÊS BRASILEIRO: CRITÉRIOS PARA COLETA DE DADOS E PRIMEIRAS MEDIDAS ACÚSTICAS

Abstract

The paper presents the criteria adopted to compose a corpus and to collect data to an acoustic study of Brazilian Portuguese fricatives (/f-v, s-z, S -Z , x -ƒ or h - h, the last two pairs been dependent of the subject’s dialect). Preliminary results of acoustic measures, mainly frequency and duration, are also presented.
