Este artigo visa compartilhar a experiência educativo-teatral realizada no ensino fundamental com turmas de 7o ano da Escola Tenente Rêgo Barros, em que foi abordado o tema referente ao movimento da Cabanagem, evento ocorrido entre os anos de 1835 e 1840 no Pará, Brasil. Objetivou-se, por meio de um trabalho interdisciplinar entre as áreas de História, Geografia e Língua Portuguesa, confluir suas abordagens teórico-científicas com as atividades empírico-lúdicas, a fim de estimular os alunos a vivenciarem a modalidade teatral como instrumento de ensino- aprendizagem. Para tanto, estabeleceu-se a divisão dos alunos em grupos de tarefas, por afinidade motivacional ou direcionamento dos professores-coordenadores, respeitando-se o tema gerador em conformidade com o planejamento de competências e habilidades do referido ano de ensino. Constatou-se que é possível, com o uso do teatro, realizar um trabalho interdisciplinar entre duas ou mais disciplinas, resultando numa intervenção direta na dinâmica do ensino, principalmente porque foram evidenciadas a capacidade de reflexão sobre dado momento histórico e a habilidade de interação social na construção do conhecimento. Os resultados observados demonstraram-se positivos na aferição da aprendizagem de cunho quanti-qualitativo dos alunos, expressando-se no percentual elevado das suas notas na avaliação somativa, na participação colaborativa nas atividades e no seu maior interesse às aulas. Por fim, pôde-se inferir que esse procedimento contribuiu para a formação cidadã dos alunos.

Abstract

This article aims to share the educational-theatrical experience held in elementary school with 7th grade students from the Tenente Rêgo Barros School, in which the theme related to the Cabanagem movement, an event that occurred between the years of 1835 and 1840 in Pará, Brazil, was discussed. The objective of this work was to interrelate between the areas of History, Geography and Portuguese Language, to combine their theoretical-scientific approaches with the empirical-ludic activities, in order to stimulate students to experience the theatrical modality as a teaching- learning. In order to do so, the students were divided into task groups by motivational affinity or direction of the teacher-coordinators, respecting the generating theme in accordance with the planning of skills and abilities of that year of teaching. It was found that it is possible, through the use of theater, to perform an interdisciplinary work between two or more disciplines, resulting in a direct intervention in the teaching dynamics, mainly because the ability to reflect on a given historical moment and the ability of social interaction in the construction of knowledge. The results observed were positive in the assessment of the quantitative-qualitative learning of the students, expressed in the high percentage of their scores in the summative evaluation, in the collaborative participation in the activities and in their greater interest in the classes. Finally, it could be inferred that this procedure contributed to the citizens' formation of the students.
