Edgar Morin's Contributions to Transdisciplinary Health Education

Abstract

Considering the current situation of worldwide pandemic caused by the coronavirus, in which we witness the call of health professionals beyond their technical areas, giving rise to a human demand in all its dimensions and, from this scenario, the exposed need for to better reflect on the training of health professionals to face difficult situations in the practice of care and assistance, this study sought to reflect on what knowledge would be in question and the possibility of transdisciplinarity in Health Education, based on Edgar's thought Morin, addressing the epistemology of complexity as a path to health education in the present, highlighting two of the knowledge pointed out by the author as necessary: ​​the human condition and the principle of uncertainty, themes that can be discussed from the perspective of philosophy, supporting a perspective and transdisciplinary action.
