As novas gerações não têm comprometimento? Diferenças no comprometimento organizacional ao longo dos grupos geracionais

Com a chegada de trabalhadores jovens no mercado, a prática gerencial e a mídia passaram a afirmar que as novas gerações são menos comprometidas. Essa afirmativa encontra respaldo em algumas pesquisas internacionais. No entanto, pesquisas nacionais não atingiram um consenso sobre diferenças comportamentais nas gerações que hoje coexistem: baby boomers e gerações X, Y e Z. O presente estudo teve como objetivo testar se existe diferença em comprometimento organizacional ao longo dessas gerações, partindo da psicologia organizacional. Não foram encontrados resultados que apoiam práticas em recursos humanos pautadas em grupos geracionais, assim, discute-se a adequação dessa concepção à realidade brasileira.Published
