Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is spaced between lines of 1.5; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The abstract is structured and the technology report follows the journal's structure.
  • All authors were included in the metadata, containing their ORCID and the institution they represent.

Author Guidelines

Submission Conditions

As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify that their submission complies with all of the items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will be returned to the authors.

  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, this should be justified in "Comments to the Editor".
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses).; figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document as attachments.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, on the About the Journal page.
  • The article contains between 12,000 and 30,000 characters, excluding spaces, tables, figures and references at the end.
  • The text must strictly follow the latest edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) standards.
  • All authors' metadata was filled out, with their full name, email, affiliation and ORCID.
  • A copyright statement was prepared as a supplementary file, signed by all authors, and sent as a supplementary file at the time of submission.

COMPONENTS OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL REPORT

The article was divided into sequentially numbered subtitles, and must contain at least the following items:

  • Title in the original language, which may be Portuguese, Spanish or English.
  • Title in a second language, which must be English. If the first language is English, the second may be Portuguese or Spanish.
  • Structured abstract in the original language: The abstract must contain a maximum of 250 words with the following topics:
  1. main objective of the research
  2. Diagnosis of the problem and/or opportunity
  3. Methodology/approach
  4. Results/Application
  5. Contributions
  6. Keywords
  • Structured abstract in the second original language
  • Keywords in the second language.
  1. Introduction: Containing Contextualization, Diagnosis, Research Problem or Corporate Solution that is intended to be sought and the Objective of the research.
  2. Theoretical framework: The framework must be structured to define the operational concepts that will be used in the research and identify recent research on the topic, preferably from the last 3 years.
  3. Methods or procedures performed: Describe how the technological report was developed and the reality investigated. The authors can describe internal and external environments and detail processes.
  4. Results or discussions demonstrating a proposal for Innovation and technological or social contribution.
  5. Final Considerations.
  • References.

ILLUSTRATIONS

Tables and figures: Illustrations are classified only as tables or figures, never as Charts or Graphs. They must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and inserted in the appropriate place in the body of the text. They should be used only to present data that cannot be described in the text.

Authors should limit tables and figures to what is strictly necessary. Tables and figures should have their own title. When preparing illustrative material and tables, the useful page size must be respected. The number and title of tables should be above, while for figures they should be below.

All tables and figures must have sources and be sent in editable format.

IN-TEXT CITATIONS

References in the text must strictly follow the standards established by APA.

EXPLANATORY NOTES

Explanatory notes are used only for information on the title page. They are numbered consecutively within the text and placed at the end of the title page, and are not accepted on other pages.

END OF REFERENCES

References should be cited at the end of the article, in alphabetical order, according to the surname of the first author and according to the date of publication, that is, from the most recent work to the oldest. Authors' names, titles of journals, books, publishers, cities, etc. should not be abbreviated. The technical standards established by the APA must be strictly observed.

IMPORTANT

Texts must be sent after rigorous spelling revision.

The Editorial Board does not accept texts that do not comply with the established standards and reserves the right to make the final decision regarding their publication.

Once the works have been published, the Revista Científica CINTEC reserves all copyrights, although it allows their subsequent reproduction, with due citation of the sources.

IDEOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Articles whose authors are identified represent the point of view of their authors and not the official position of the Revista Científica CINTEC.

Texts for publication are received continuously throughout the year.

CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Conflicts of interest may arise when authors, reviewers or editors have interests that, whether apparent or not, may influence the preparation or evaluation of manuscripts. Conflicts of interest may be personal, commercial, political, academic or financial in nature.

When authors submit a manuscript, they are responsible for acknowledging and disclosing financial or other conflicts that may have influenced their work. Authors must acknowledge in the manuscript all financial support for the work and other financial or personal connections with respect to the research. The reviewer must disclose to the editors any conflicts of interest that could influence their opinion on the manuscript and, when applicable, must declare themselves not qualified to review it. If authors are uncertain about what may constitute a potential conflict of interest, they should contact the editorial office of the Journal.

The names and addresses provided in this journal are used exclusively for the services provided by the Revista Científica CINTEC and are not made available for other purposes or to third parties.

Relatos Tecnológicos

Os Relatos Tecnológicos buscam divulgar pesquisas ou projetos inovadores. A inovação pode ser registrada por meio de novas teorias, desenvolvimento de teorias antigas ou aplicação de antigas teorias em situações novas a fim de solucionar problemas institucionais.

Portanto, não são aceitos ensaios ou reflexões apenas teóricas, nem pesquisas bibliométricas ou aplicação de modelagens estatísticas, sem uma clara aplicabilidade prática.
