Yiddishkeit: a construção da identidade judaica em São Paulo

Abstract

In the following text i analyze how the yiddish become the quasi-official language in the Brazilian jewish community, and specially in São Paulo at the expense of ladino and hebrew. Even as i analyze the space that institution, especially the mutual assistance, took in the jewish community in São Paulo. The two themes are relevant as the partial construction of the jewish community on Brazil and some countries like the United State of America and Argentina.
