Abstract

The current article has as main objective to analyze the importãncia of the Iberian trilogy of cineasta Catalan Bigas Luna in the context of the Spanish cinema, as indicating of the great icons of the Spanish culture and as alegoria of three important moments politicians: the franquismo; the first years after the fall of the regimen; and twenty years after the ending of the ditatorial government.
