Abstract

This analytical and memorial paper reflects on my academic journey within the Graduate Program in Education, highlighting experiences during the master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral stages, as well as participation in various institutional spheres. Engagement in the Collegiate Board, involvement with the research group FORPEC, editorial management of the Program’s scientific journal, and participation in academic events reveal the breadth and depth of the formative process. Also noteworthy are co-authored publications with faculty members, invitations to serve on academic committees, and technical review activities, which reflect institutional recognition. The article concludes with a mention of a 2022 publication, co-authored with a faculty member, which records part of the history of teacher education for higher education and the origin of FORPEC. The narrative seeks to highlight the meaning of a formative journey shaped by spaces of listening, dialogue, and collaboration.
